Traffic Information About the Video

by on 11/18/2009

I have had some emails requesting some insight into where the traffic is coming from.   Well it started with Engadget yesterday and then spread to twitter and a few other sites.  I am not really sure of where all the traffic is coming from because youtube does not have really good analytics – but here is a screencap of the bit.ly stats.  Thanks for the folks at http://skitch.com/ who make this oooh so easy to do.  (no not paid, nor sponsored – I just like their application)

You should work on disguising your ‘stupid marketer’ side a bit better, Microshill.

Neat idea for a marketing campaign.

Too bad you blew it with your unconscious praise and poor attempts at hiding “marketing hype” as personal opinion. As a working screenwriter, I can tell you that writing by committee doesn’t work. Like they say, a camel is a horse designed by a committee and you’re prose is a nasty-ass, ugly camel. Or at least tell the MS brand guy, “stop “effing pushing us to praise Windows 7 so obbviously or people are gonna know it’s a fraud.”

Oppsss… too late.

If only Hilary would give you a RESET button!

Last night on our way to a party in the Antarctic, we stopped off on a glacier to kill some time. I’d been out of the Antarctic loop for a while, and did not even realize that there were penguins in Antarctica. I’d half expected them to be just birds, but WOW was I in for a surprise.

There really was something special in the air, so many smiling penguins being fully committed to the experience. Midway through our visit the entire glacier burst out into a dance: here it did not seem forced nor contrived, I would honestly say that this was the penguins letting go, having some fun.

I’ve been a hard core Microsoft shill for years now, but this really made me rethink which operating system to use. Also, something about this video is telling me that I’m standing on the edge of a precipice. Professionally, at least.

Good luck running that osx only ‘skitich’ app that you like so much on that new Windows PC you are considering…

WOW!

You website shot up in value!! Now it’s worth a whopping $2993USD!!!!!!

http://www.websiteoutlook.com/www.bradslavin.com

With ad revunue estimated at $4 per day, you will have that Win7 upgrade paid off in no time!! About what, only a month or so?

Your Mom must be very proud of you.

Brad is probably very proud of seeing his website traffic up – any publicity is good publicity, especially when it consists entirely of people who are pointing their fingers and mocking you. That’s how marketers actually think, right Brad?

MyNameIsMud... Dumb Spelled Backwards November 19, 2009 at 16:30

oh….my…. god…..

Microsoft’s stumbling attempts at clever marketing reminds me of Wild E Coyote cartoons. It’s not the ad agencies fault, cause MS keeps changing them. So it’s got to be some senior exec at MS that’s the “super genius.”

viral embarrassment

Ryan November 20, 2009 at 08:09

How are you proud of this?

Microsoft hired you for viral marketing and you failed *miserably*.

Not like, “oh we got a lot of hits but some people made jokes” but like “we got a lot of hits because it was so awful people kept telling their friends. now the big joke is that the only thing worse than Vista is Microsoft’s marketing team.”

Get a new job, Brad.

You dumb fuckers. You think you are oh so fucking savy at who did what and why. I can tell you from first hand personal experience, Brad is in no way shape or form affiliated with Microsoft. He’s just a regular guy/small business owner. Please you guys are about as self righteous as a pack of dumbfuck teenagers…all rebels without a clue.

mudkipz November 20, 2009 at 17:26

Okay Cameron, so you’re saying Brad’s not a Microsoft shill, he’s just a complete fucking moron?

“…here it did not seem forced nor contrived, I would honestly say that this was the staff letting go, having some fun and not taking the brand all to seriously.”

Seriously, you’re either kissing Microsoft’s ass or you’re a complete and utterly stupid moron if you genuinely believe that a song and dance routine by the store staff (presumably under the threat of ‘do it or be fired’) does ‘not seem forced’. Nice try Cameron, but if he isn’t a Microsoft shill it ends up looking even more embarrassing for Brad.

Cameron Jackson November 20, 2009 at 17:48

mudkipz,

Shit for brains, do you think I would have posted what I posted if I didn’t KNOW Brad? Did you watch the video or did you just come on here to flame out on me because your 2 day all access porn account ended today? If you had of watched the video, not only do the employees look like they are having fun, but crazy as shit, REGULAR CUSTOMERS started dancing too!!! Holy shit say it ain’t so.

Oh no you are right, Microsoft PAID those people in regular clothes to come in and dance. Sorry I forgot, we are all shills of Microsoft. Get a life, re-up your porn account, and go stroke your small cock.
